Getting to France
By Road
Road trip! If you are planning the long way over it is 11 - 12 hours in the car from London, you go through Tours and Bordeaux on the way.
By Air
Most of you will be clocking up the air miles to join us for the big day. The nearest airport to the wedding venue is Toulouse (roughly 1hr 15minutes drive away). Bordeaux and Bergearc airport are alternative options though slightly further 1hr 45mins. If you fly to Bordeaux you will need to hire a car (probably too far/expensive for a cab).
As we mention in the Airport transfers section below, if a significant amount of people arrive together we can organize a mini coach transfer. About 17 people need to arrive together to make this viable. Feel free to counjour up momentum on the forum.
For this to be an available option we suggest taking the 08.40am Easyjet flight from Gatwick or the 07.50am British Airways flight from Heathrow on Friday 4/9/2015 to Toulouse (or any other flights which could connect to a "middayish" transfer). We could then arrange a coach to leave the airport at midday to collect from both flights. You will arrive up at the village in the early afternoon and have plenty of time to relax, snooze and explore before the cheese and wine evening begins. We can do the same if a group big enough are on the midday flights out of London.
A return transfer would be arranged for midday monday, if signficant people were interested, there is a 17.50pm BA flight home or Easy Jet flights at 17.25pm or 21.55pm on Monday 7/9/2015.

Transfers from theAirport
Transfers
If a significant number of people arrive on the same flight we will arrange a mini coach trasnfer to get you from the airport to the village. This will cost between 15 - 25GBP dependant on the amount of people filling the bus. The transfer will include a 30minute stop at a hypermarket for you to pick up basic supplies, drinking water, extra beer and wine, bread etc for your stay as the village is self catering and there are no shops. Aside from the wedding events you will need to supply your own meals - breakfast etc.
Please bear in mind you will not have a car once you are at the village if you get a transfer, if you need further things for your stay it is only 15 - 20EUROS in a taxi to the nearest supermarket, or find a willing driver to take you for free! We will also arrange a transfer back on Monday lunchtime if people are on the same return flight. If not it will be around 120GBP (30GBP each if full) in a taxi for the return leg.
Car hire
If you are happy to drive this is the cheapest and most flexible option (unless there are enough people to co-ordinate two ways of transfers) Car hire is not expensive in France (around 50GBP for Friday to Monday) and all the major hire companies are available at Toulouse or Bordeaux airport. Try these 2 sites for good rates: www.holidayautos.co.uk or www.rentalcars.com
If you are using a satnav – if you type in “Lagarde” or “Lagarde Fieumarcon” it should get you there. But make sure you are aiming for somewhere between Condom or Lectoure as there are a couple of "Lagardes". GNP Co-ordiantes are
Taxis
Toulouse Airport offers the services of an official airport taxi company, and customers can either hire a taxi on their arrival at the airport, or in advance, by making a reservation. A taxi can be booked by calling the airport’s call center at +33 (0)5 61 30 02 54, or at +33 (0)6 07 41 29 33. You can also get prices and bookings on this website
Parking
There is enough space for cars around the Village.
If there is a group of you coming from places close by on the day, you might want to car pool with someone driving every one over for the wedding, taxiing home and then using another car to go and collect the first on the day after.
