David and Claire

Jim and Dave met at school at St Jo's in 1997. When Jim left St Jo's in 2002 to attend a different Sixth form Dave and Jim spoke on the phone every day. Then, unable to live without each other any longer both went to the University of Newcastle and lived together for the next 3 years.

Chaz and Dave (not the English pop rock duo, most notable as creators and performers of a musical style labelled "rockney") also met at school. Chaz will have the joint role of being a groomsmen and acting as officiant and marrying us on the big day!

Tommy is another St Jo's old boy. Dave practically moved into Tommy's house for consecutive Summer holidays, regularly going down to Frinton for the day and only going back home 2 weeks later.

Seb Lewis makes up the grooms party. Seb is sometimes refered to by his friends as the "Little Actor" and once had an interesting experience with a florist.

Us!

Claire and Jo have been friends for the last 5 years with Jo having known Dave since 1995 when they were at the same junior school. Jo came out to visit us in Sydney in 2013 and was once known to say after a night out "So I am just wondering, does anyone remember my head being on fire last night?"

Anna and Claire met aged 11 on the first day of high school in form 7.3. They fast became firm friends and very competitive with each other in equal measures, both of which continued for many years! They went inter-railing around Eastern Europe after school and both ended up living in London after University.

Zena and Claire have been friends since age 8 when they met at swimming club. Over 20 years of friendship there are to many memories to mention, from racing each other to school on bicycles to finding themselves on a Brooklyn rooftop at 4am.

Claire and Cat met when she was born. Claire has only partially forgiven Cat for eating all of the windows in her chocolate advent calendar one Christmas.
